Nancy R. (Tappin) Harper

WINCHENDON - Nancy R. (Tappin) Harper, 75, of 1199 John Fitch Highway, Fitchburg, formerly of Winchendon, died Friday, December 25th in Golden Living Center, Fitchburg. She was born in Winchendon on September 17,1934, the daughter of the late Warren and Ruth Tappin and was a resident of Winchendon for all of her life, before moving to Fitchburg five years ago. Nancy worked many years ago in Winchendon Town Hall. She was a 1952 graduate of Murdock High School. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family. She leaves a grandson, Beau G. Harper of Winchendon, two granddaughters, Emily Tenney and Christina Tenney, also of Winchendon and one cousin Arnold Tappin of Nevada. Her son, David G. Harper, died in 1980. Nancy was also predeceased by two brothers, Arthur Tappin and Rawford Tappin and one cousin, Richard Tappin. Private funeral services will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Riverside Cemetery. There are no calling hours. Memorial donations may be made to Golden Living Center Patients Activities Fund, 1199 John Fitch Highway, Fitchburg, MA. 01420.
