GARDNER – Naomi W. (Noel) Ferrazza, 92, formerly of Gardner and Worcester, died peacefully Monday morning, September 26 th in Oak Knoll Health Care Center in Framingham.
She was born in Whitinsville on October 18, 1918, the youngest of five children of James and Nettie (Wonder) Noel and lived in Gardner for 40 years until moving to Framingham in 2008. She previously lived in Worcester for 50 years.
Naomi worked as a waitress many years ago at Paxton Inn Restaurant and Bull Run Restaurant. She was a devoted Health Care Worker from the age of 65 until her retirement at the age of 85. She was a high school graduate.
She was twice widowed to Russell Mills and Alexander Ferrazza, and leaves five children, Russell Mills of East Lansing, Michigan, James Mills of Orlando, FL, D. Michael Mills of Camden, NJ, Shirley Wing of Bradenton, FL and Christine Burgarella of Marlborough, as well as many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Naomi donated her body to the University of Massachusetts Medical School in Worcester for anatomical research. Burial will be in Wildwood Cemetery, Gardner at a later date.
