WINCHENDON - Nina V. (Ricard) O'Malley, 77, of 52 Winter Street, Winchendon died peacefully Friday morning, June 4th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner. She was born in Indian Orchard, Springfield, MA on December 24, 1932, the daughter of the late Harmas J. and Gladys A. (Sebastian) Ricard and had lived in Winchendon for most of her life. Nina worked at New Hampshire Ball Bearing in Peterborough, NH for several years until her retirement. She was a 1950 graduate of Murdock High School. Her favorite hobby was working with genealogy. She also enjoyed gardening. Nina's greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family. Her husband, William J. O'Malley Jr., died in 1957. She leaves three sons, William J. O'Malley 3rd and his wife Darlene of Fitzwilliam, NH, James P. O'Malley of Washington and Kevin A. O'Malley of Gardner; a brother, Floyd A. Ricard of Gardner; a sister, Jessie A. Stewart of Orange, eight beloved grandchildren, many beloved great grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. A brother, Francis L. Ricard, predeceased her. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 8th at 10 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Francis A. Roberge will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home are Monday, June 7th from 6 to 8 P.M.
