On October 28, 2024, Norene J. Verolini succumbed after a long battle with lung cancer. She was surrounded by her husband of 25 years Thomas and her two sons Adam Weick of New Hampshire and Danial Weick of Royalton, MA. She was born in Delaware, daughter of Henry and Norma Nawrocki and moved to Massachusetts in 1980 with her 2 sons. She was a Royalston resident for 30 years. She worked for many years as a custodian, first at Monty Tech and then at Quabbin Regional High School. She was a bus driver for many years. She was an avid animal lover, having many pets including 3 rabbits, 2 dogs and many cats over the years. She was predeceased by her sister Jean of Florida and her brother Edmund of Delaware. 

Norene could grow anything and was very proud of her flower gardens and the many potted plants all over the back deck. She also leaves behind 2 granddaughters Alisha and Samantha both of New Hampshire and 4 great grand children with another on the way. There are no calling hours. 

There will be a private burial with family only. 

There will be a celebration of life for her family and many friends at a time yet to be determined.
