Norma C. (Raymond) Cosentino
April 27, 1942 — August 17, 2013
WINCHENDON – Norma C. (Raymond) Cosentino, 71, of 347 Front Street, Winchendon, died peacefully Saturday, August 17th, at Legend Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Gardner, with her loving family at her side.
She was born in Gardner on April 27, 1942, daughter of the late Ralph and Cecile (Hoague) Raymond. She lived in Winchendon for most of her life and was educated in Winchendon schools.
Norma worked at Ray Plastics for several years and later worked at TRW. From 1994 to 2004, she owned and operated Winchendon-Ashburnham Cab Stand with her husband. Her hobbies were reading, cooking and doing crossword puzzles. Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family. She and her husband were two of the founders of The Snowbound Club.
She leaves her husband of 54 years, Frank A. Cosentino Jr.; two sons, Frank A. Cosentino III and his wife Karen and Aaron T. Cosentino, all of Winchendon; three grandchildren, Mandy Medina and her husband Michael, Frank A. Cosentino IV and his wife Leslie and Ashley Ofosuhene and her husband Nigel; five great grandchildren, Jamison, Janessa, Alexa, Frank Cosentino V and Cameron; two sisters, Mary Morse of Kissimmee, FL and Beverly Rich of Baldwinville and several nephews and nieces. Three children, Leigh Ann Cosentino, Mark Cosentino and Michael Cosentino and three brothers, Ralph Raymond, Gerry Raymond and Marshall Raymond predeceased her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, August 21st in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street, Winchendon. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
