GARDNER - Patricia A. (Skorko) Hackett, 67, of 40 Comee Street, Gardner, formerly of Baldwinville, died peacefully Sunday afternoon, October 3rd in UMASS Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester, with her family at her side.
She was born in Manchester, NH on May 30, 1943, the daughter of the late Andrew and Laura (Chicoine) Skorko, and had lived in Gardner for five years. She previously lived in Baldwinville for 41 years.
Pat had worked for seven years as a dispatcher for the Town of Templeton and had also driven a van for Fred's School Bus Company in Winchendon. Several years ago, she worked as a secretary for S&H Transfer in Westminster. She most recently worked as a van driver for the Montachusett Opportunity Council. She was a 1961 graduate of Oakmont Regional High School in Ashburnham. She was a member of Cornerstone Church of the Assemblies of God in Winchendon. Pat found her greatest enjoyment from spending time with her family.
She leaves her husband of 47 years, William C. Hackett; three children, Paul A. Hackett and his wife Carrie of Gardner, Laurie A. Purdy of Worcester and Chris Hackett and his wife Genevieve of Gardner; one sister, Elaine Jones of Westminster and eight grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 6th at 10 A.M. in Cornerstone Church of the Assemblies of God, 122 Gardner Road, Winchendon. The Rev. Barry Risto will officiate.
Calling hours in the church will be Wednesday, October 6th from 9 to 10 A.M. preceding the funeral.
