Patricia E. (Hanson) Coderre

WINCHENDON - Patricia E. (Hanson) Coderre, 69, of 29 Joslin Road, Winchendon, died peacefully Tuesday morning, July 21st, in her residence, surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Willimantic, CT on June 26,1940, the daughter of the late Loran and Eudine (Munsel) Hanson and had lived in Winchendon for many years. Pat was the first Teacher's Aide hired in the Winchendon School System and worked as a Special Education Instructor for several years in the Winchendon School System. For the last 20 years, she worked with the mentally ill, working at Alternatives Unlimited in Fitchburg and Leominster until her retirement. She was a member of American Legion Auxiliary and VFW Auxiliary, both of Jaffrey, NH, Turnpike Rod and Gun Club in Ashburnham and Winchendon Rod and Gun Club. She enjoyed road trips. Pat enjoyed people and found her greatest enjoyment spending time with her family. She leaves her husband of 51 years, Ernest J. Coderre Sr.; three children, Ernest J. Coderre Jr and his wife Maryann; Kathleen F. Forrest and her husband Mark and Suzanne M. Roberts and her husband Carl, all of Winchendon; three brothers, Loran Hanson Jr., Robert Hanson and John Hanson, all of Peterborough, NH; one sister, Linda Green of Peterborough, NH; seven grandchildren, Shaunna Mason, Lindsay Coderre, Edward Roberts, Matthew Roberts, Jason Roberts, Joshua LeBlanc and Loran Coderre; four great grandchildren, Dustin Wilson, Morgan Grant, Olivia Grant and Katelynlee Trainque, as well as many nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by a son, Edward J. Coderre, who died in 1979, and a brother, Thomas Hanson. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
