Patrick F. Cosentino, 82, died on Tuesday, April 15, 2025, at Mass General Hospital after an illness.
Born on October 1, 1942, in Templeton, son of the late William and Nellie (Bettey) Cosentino. He lived in Templeton, Gardner, and Winchendon all his life.
Pat served in the US Navy from 1960-1963 and was trained in mechanics which began a lifelong past-time that he shared with his sons, siblings and nephews. He was co-owner of Montachusett transportation during the 1970’s to early 80’s providing school bus transportation to the local region. Pat drove truck all his life, most notably for NEFX and Martin Brower making him a member of the Million Mile club for safe driving. He was an honorary member of the Knights of Columbus and a member of the Teamsters Union 170. He took many midnight runs back and forth to Florida with his brother Franny visiting family and working on cars in his free time. In his later years, Pat enjoyed puzzle books, Andy Griffith and talked fondly of adventures with his nephew Pauly. Throughout his lifetime, he was always eager to help others when asked, a trait that his family came to share.
He is survived by his two sons, Daniel Cosentino and his wife Lisa, Allen Cosentino, and one daughter, Cillen Naples. Four grandchildren, Brian Cosentino and his wife, Marjean, Keith Cosentino and his partner Eva, and Katia and Domenic Naples, and three great-grandchildren, Olivia, Aurora, and Thomas. He is also survived by two sisters, Bunny and Theresa, and a brother Anthony.
A graveside service will be held at the Massachusetts Veterans Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon, MA 01475, on Monday, April 28, 2025, at 10:00 a.m.
