STERLING, CT - Paul A. LaBarge Jr, 49, of 161 Church Street, Sterling, CT, formerly of Winchendon and Baldwinville, died unexpectedly Sunday, June 6th at his residence. He was born in Gardner, MA on January 13, 1961, the son of Paul A. and Margaret R. (Stone) LaBarge of Baldwinville and lived for many years in Winchendon and Baldwinville until moving to Sterling, CT eight years ago. Paul was a construction worker for many years. He learned construction from his father and worked at LaBarge Landscaping of Winchendon and other construction companies for many years. He lived in Florida at one time, where he worked for Lykes Brothers Co. He was presently working at Cutting Edge Landscaping in Sterling, CT. Paul was a graduate of Montachusett Regional Vocational Technical School in Fitchburg. He enjoyed collecting guns, loved tools and he took a great deal of interest in his work. A top sportsman, Paul was an avid hunter and fisherman. In addition to his parents, Paul leaves a sister, Brenda J. LaBarge of Baldwinville; two brothers, Brian J. LaBarge and his wife Amy of Leominster and Mark R. LaBarge and his wife Joan of Winchendon, as well as ten nieces and nephews, nine great nieces and great nephews and many aunts, uncles and cousins. Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
