GARDNER – Paula J. (Hicks) Gibson, 52, of Gardner, died peacefully at her residence, Saturday afternoon, June 22nd, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Oklahoma City, OK , daughter of Raymond Hicks and the late Frances (Wheeler) Hicks. Paula grew up in Oklahoma and graduated from Edmond Memorial High School and Oklahoma State University with a degree in fashion merchandising.
Paula worked as assistant store manager for Big Lots. She enjoyed watching soap operas and reading. A pet lover, she would volunteer at events held at the Templeton Fish and Game Club. She had lived in Gardner for over 25 years.
In addition to her father, she leaves her husband of 21 years, Ray A. Gibson; a stepson, Mathew Gibson and wife Missy of Athol; four grandchildren, Axonna, Damion, Zoey and Mathew Jr.; a sister, Essa Hicks of Springdale, Arkansas, as well as several uncles, cousins, nieces and a host of friends.
Calling hours will be held Wednesday evening, June 26th, from 6 to 8 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.
Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Edmond, OK.
