Paulette J. (Landry) Newton

RINDGE, NH - Paulette J. (Landry) Newton, 76, of 34 Sears Drive, Rindge, NH, formerly of Gardner, Winchendon and Ashburnham, died peacefully at her residence Wednesday morning, May 5th. She was born in Gardner on December 31,1933, the daughter of the late Louis J. and Eva (Lashua) Landry and had lived in Rindge for five years. Before moving to Rindge, she lived in Winchendon for over 30 years, and then lived in Ashburnham and New Salem, MA. Paulette was a machine operator at New Hampshire Ball Bearing Inc. in Peterborough, NH for several years until her retirement in 1984. She previously worked as a waitress for 30 years in both Gardner and Winchendon. She was a member of Eugene M. Connor Post 193 American Legion Auxiliary and was a former member of the United Parish of Winchendon. She was a loving and devoted wife and mother. She leaves her husband of 55 years, Lyle F. Newton; four children, Diane J. Carreiro and her husband Gil of Chatham, Kandy A. LaFalam and her husband Michael of Winchendon, William F. Newton and his wife Haiyan of Wellesley and Douglas A. Newton and his wife Shelly of Winchendon; a sister, Louise Wiggins of Bowdon, GA; eight grandchildren and several nephews and nieces. Funeral services are private and at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours. Burial will be in Cathedral of the Pines Cemetery, Rindge, NH. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to HCS-Hospice, PO Box 496 Community Lane, Peterborough, NH 03458.
