WINCHENDON – Pearl I. (Enwright) Morneau, 91, of 26 Spring Street, Winchendon, died peacefully Monday evening, May 6th in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, with her family at her side.
She was born in Winchendon on February 12, 1922, daughter of the late Jeremiah and Florence (St. Claire) Enwright. A lifelong resident of Winchendon, she graduated from Murdock High School in 1940.
Pearl worked as a welder for many years at C.R. Bard Co. in Fitzwilliam, NH until her retirement in 1986. Her hobbies included snowmobiling, archery and bowling. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family. She was a member of Eugene M. Connor Post 193 American Legion Auxiliary.
Her husband of 62 years, Louis A. “Pete” Morneau, died in 2006. She leaves two daughters, Cindy L. Morneau and Paula A. Hopkins, both of Winchendon, as well as nieces and nephews.
Following cremation, a private graveside service will be held in Riverside Cemetery at the convenience of the family. There are no calling hours.
