WINCHENDON – Pearl S. (Garneau) Blake, 82, of 13 Benjamin Street, Winchendon, died peacefully Thursday, July 19th, in Heywood Hospital, Gardner, with her family at her side.
She was born in West Swanzey, NH on January 29, 1930, daughter of the late Ernest and Georgianna S. (Lovewell) Garneau and lived in Winchendon for most of her life.
Pearl worked many years ago at Walter E. Fernald School in Baldwinville and as an assembler at Foster Grants. She enjoyed crafts and especially treasured spending time with her family. Pearl attended Murdock High School.
She leaves her husband of 63 years, Clifford R. Blake Jr.; two children, Cynthia D. Morlock of Winchendon and Clifford E. Blake and his wife Phyllis of Winchendon; three grandchildren, Kenneth Morlock of Winchendon, Rebecca L. Tomasetti and her husband Joseph of Holliston and Marissa Blake of Gardner; two great grandchildren, Francine A.P. Morlock of Athol and Makenna Blake Figueroa; a brother, Richard E. Garno and his wife Dolores of Winchendon, as well as nephews and nieces. A sister, Eileen Sears, predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held Friday, July 27th at 11 A.M. in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, 111 Glenallen Street, Winchendon.
