WINCHENDON – Priscilla J. (Divoll) Nasiatka, 83, of 50 Otter River Road, Winchendon, died peacefully Tuesday morning, May 29th, in Baldwinville Nursing Home, with her family at her side.
She was born in Winchendon on March 20, 1929, the daughter of the late Frederic and Laida (Michaelson) Divoll, grew up in Winchendon and Baldwinville and lived in Winchendon for most of her life.
Priscilla worked as a waitress at the Old Mill Restaurant in Westminster and later worked for twelve years as a nurse’s aide in Baldwinville Nursing Home. Her most recent employment was working as an occupational therapist for twelve years at Templeton Developmental Center until her retirement. She attended Mary Curley High School in Boston and later got her certificate in Occupational Therapy through the Walter E. Fernald School. A member of The United Parish, Priscilla enjoyed painting, arts and crafts and making wreaths.
Her husband of 33 years, Edward C. Nasiatka, died in 1979. She leaves three sons, Edward C. Nasiatka Jr and his wife Susan of Westminster, Wayne David Nasiatka and his wife Jean of Lititz, PA and Scott Alan Nasiatka and his wife Heather of Winchendon; six grandchildren, Heather Laliberte, Crystal Nasiatka, Thomas Nasiatka, Kate Nasiatka, Joshua Nasiatka and Amber Nasiatka; two great grandchildren Matt Laliberte and Nick Laliberte and several nephews and nieces. A brother, Walfrid Niemi, and a sister, Sigrid Lefebvre, predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held Friday, June 1st at 11 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. William Nash will officiate.
Calling hours in the funeral home will be Thursday, May 31st from 6 to 8 P.M.
Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery at a later date.
