TEMPLETON – Rachel B. Boudreau, 81, of 306 Baldwinville Road, died Friday evening, April 19, 2019 in Heywood Hospital, Gardner after a period of declining health.
She was born in Gardner on January 8, 1938, daughter of the late Arthur and Lilly L. (Richard) Boudreau and was a 1956 graduate of Gardner High School. She had lived in Templeton since 1972.
Rachel had worked as a secretary for Massachusetts Fish and Wildlife for many years until her retirement. She was a member of Holy Cross Church in East Templeton and greatly enjoyed spending time with her family.
She leaves her husband of 60 years, Raymond Boudreau; her children, Denise McKenna and her husband Hugh of Hudson, NH, Michelle Mullins and her husband John of Sanford, NC, Louise Aalto and her husband Steven of Gardner, Norman Boudreau and his wife Kelley of Templeton and Marc Boudreau and his wife Kristine of Phillipston; a sister, Rita Boudreau of Portland, Oregon; eleven grandchildren, Sean, Brent, Christopher, Katelyn, Alise, Jill, Derek, Ashley, Sarah, Zachary and Justin and three great grandchildren, Ethan, Cora and Mackenzie. Two grandchildren, Matthew Mullins and Eric Aalto, predeceased her.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday, April 24, 2019 at 11 A.M. in Holy Cross Church, 25 Lake Avenue, East Templeton.
Burial will follow in Pine Grove Cemetery, Templeton.
