Richard Joseph Woodward, known to all as Richard, was born on July 2, 1964, in Gardner, Massachusetts. Richard was a man of many talents who celebrated life with a vivacious and infectious spirit. He was a beloved father, grandfather, brother, and friend to many in his community.
Richard dedicated his professional life to the trade he loved, working as a meat cutter at Chair City Meat. His strong work ethic and friendly demeanor made him a cherished member of the local workforce. Yet, his passions extended beyond his trade. He harbored a deep love for the outdoors, finding joy in fishing and camping. Richard was also a skilled painter and handyman. Above all, he cherished the time spent with his friends, creating countless memories filled with laughter and joy. In the words of Maya Angelou, "People will forget what you said, people will forget what you did, but people will never forget how you made them feel." Richard left an indelible mark on the hearts of those who had the privilege to know him.

Richard leaves behind a loving family; his son Jeremy Woodward and his wife Tracy; grandchildren Vivian Woodward, Maxine Woodward, James White, Rhiley White, Alexis White, Jaden Parks, Hailey Parks, and Connor Parks. He is also survived by his step-son Tony White, Step-daughter Danielle White, his brothers Michael Woodward, Kevin Woodward, Joseph Fournier, and Derik Putnam, and his sisters Dawn Marcil, Tracy Alderson, Jaylene Terminello, and Danica Young. Richard joins in eternal rest his parents Robert Woodward and Carolyn Fournier, his late wife Robin Woodward, his sons Richard JR and Brian Woodward, and his sisters Ann Lammi and Cathy Casavant.

A Celebration of Life will be held in honor of Richard on Saturday, November 18, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. EST at the Snowbound Club, Inc., located at 130 Baldwinville Road, Winchendon, Massachusetts, 01475. We invite all those who knew and loved Richard to join us in remembering his vibrant spirit and celebrating his impactful life.
