FITCHBURG – Richard L. Morin, 51, of 54 Wallace Avenue, Fitchburg, formerly of Winchendon, died peacefully at his residence Saturday, June 18 th .
He was born in Winchendon on October 22, 1959, the son of Beverly M. (Greenwood) Morin of Winchendon and the late Richard A. Morin, and had lived in Fitchburg for the last five years, after living in Winchendon for most of his life.
Rick worked as a construction worker for several years. He enjoyed martial arts. He also enjoyed playing the guitar and drums and had played in a musical band in this area.
In addition to his mother, he leaves two daughters, Tonya M.C. Shaw and her husband Keith of Athol and Jenna R. Smith of Winchendon; a sister, Maureen Thompson of Rindge, NH; a brother, Donald Creighton of Springfield, MA; six grandchildren, Regina Knowlton, Ricky Clark Jr., Keith Shaw Jr., Jordynn Smith, Jianna Smith and Malcolm Austin; two nieces, Erin Creighton and Alexis Thompson and one nephew, Ian Creighton.
Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, June 21 st from 6 to 8 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.
