WINCHENDON - Richard W. "Ricky" Aylward, 53, of 94 Summer Street, Fitchburg, formerly of Winchendon and Worcester, died Wednesday, November 22nd in the Hillcrest Nursing Home in Fitchburg. He was born on June 10,1953, the son of the late Rosina E. (Landry) and James R. Aylward, Sr. He was predeceased by his wife, Jeannette Aylward. Ricky was formerly employed at the former General Box Shop in Winchendon, before moving to Worcester. He leaves four brothers, James R. Aylward Jr. and Raymond A. Aylward, both of Gardner, John L. Aylward of Perry, Maine and Edward L. Aylward of Winchendon; four sisters, Blanche E. Benware of Vermont, Emily R. Inferrara of Georgia, Patsy A. Tinker of Maine and Mary-Ann Woods of New Hampshire, as well as many nephews and nieces. A brother, Lee Aylward, predeceased him. Funeral services will be held at 1:30 P.M. Saturday, November 25th in the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Andre Dargis, pastor of Our Lady of Holy Rosary Church in Gardner, will officiate. Burial will be in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon. Calling hours in the funeral home will be from 12:30 to 1:30 P.M. Saturday, before the funeral service. Memorial donations may be made to the P.I.P.
