Robert W Smith

Winchendon & Arcadia, FL-Robert Wilson Smith, 85, died November 20, 2022 at his home in Florida after a long illness.

He was the husband of the late Lillianne (Belletete) Smith, who died in 1996. 

Robert leaves two sons, Robert S. Smith and his wife Colleen of Templeton and Scott Smith and his wife Melissa of Baldwinville; one daughter Brenda Zeimbekakis and her husband George of FL; eight grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; one brother, Thomas Smith of Winchendon; one sister Norma Boudrieau of Gardner; many nieces and nephews. 

He is also predeceased by his longtime companion, Veronica (Bonnie) Baxter

Robert was born on September 14, 1937 a son of the late John H.S. and Bertha (Clement) Smith. He was a graduate of Murdock High School and served in the US Navy. He worked for General Electric for 30 plus years as a Machinist. 

He loved the outdoors, hunting, fishing, snowmobiling and especially playing golf. He also enjoyed living in Florida for many years. He also had a great sense of humor. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. 

His funeral service will be held on Wednesday, November 30, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. in the Stone Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA 01475. There will be calling hours from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m. prior to the funeral. 

Burial will follow with military honors at the Riverside Cemetery, Glennallen Street, Winchendon, MA.
