TEMPLETON - Robert E. Goodwin, 80, of 79 Bridge Street, Baldwinville, died Friday evening, April 21st, at his residence. He was born in Gardner on September 16,1925, the son of Earl W. and Lempi E. (Lilius) Goodwin and had been a resident of Baldwinville for over 50 years. For many years, Bob worked as a sander at Harrington and Richardson Gun Factory, Gardner before his retirement. He had previously worked at area furniture shops. Many years ago, Bob was the owner and operator of R and R Junk Yard in Templeton. He enjoyed ten pin bowling, fishing and trips to Foxwoods. His wife of 46 years, Marilyn J. (Brehio) Goodwin, died in 1998. He leaves a son, Robert E. Goodwin, Jr. and his wife, Bonnie of Mercer, Maine; five daughters, Joye A. Paige and her husband Harry of Templeton, Lynn M. Puustinen and her late husband Rick of Norridgewock, Maine, Paula J. Lovewell of Gardner, Sally J. Ringuette and her husband, Bertrand of Templeton and Michelle C. Royal and her husband Don of Jacksonville, Florida, as well as 13 grandchildren and ten great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 4 P.M. Tuesday, April 25th in the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Dr. R. Gary Heikkila will officiate. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery, Baldwinville. Calling hours in the funeral home will be from 2-4 P.M. Tuesday preceding the funeral.
