GARDNER – Robert J. Bond, 56, of 23 Limerick Street, Gardner, died unexpectedly Thursday, May 9th in Gardner.
He was born in Ayer on August 15, 1956, son of Arthur Bond and Theresa (Colard) Bond LeBlanc and had lived in Gardner for most of his life.
Bob had worked as a machine operator at Superior Friction and had previously worked at Alaska Freezer. He enjoyed nature and fishing and also found solace in watching the trains around the railroad tracks.
He leaves his children, Sarah Lynne Bond and Ryan Bond, both of Gardner; the mother of his children, Susan Bettez of Gardner and his daughter Sherry Elise; his brothers and sisters, Lawrence Bond of Gardner, Mary Boynton of Gardner, John Bond of Gardner, Carol Bellevue of Gardner, Edward Bond of Winchendon, Ronald Bond of Gardner, Debra Evans of Templeton and Joseph Bond of Fitchburg and many nephews and nieces.
Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 15, 2013 at 11 A.M. in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon. There are no calling hours.
