WINCHENDON - Robert L. Draeger, 77, of 25 Doyle Avenue, Winchendon died peacefully Wednesday evening, July 14th in UMASS Memorial Healthcare, University Campus, Worcester. He was born in Sayreville, New Jersey on August 13, 1932, the son of the late Walter R. and Rose V. (Gyorfi) Draeger and was a resident of Winchendon for 28 years. He previously lived in Bellingham and Gardner. Bob worked at Simplex Time Recorder Company for 37 years, from 1960 until his retirement in 1997. He previously worked at IBM in Elizabeth, NJ. Bob was a 1952 graduate of South River High School in South River, NJ and then proudly served his country as a member of the Air Force, during the Korean War from 1952 to 1956. He received the National Defense Service Medal, Korean Service Medal and Good Conduct Medal. Bob graduated from Northeastern University in 1976 and also attended RCA Institute in New York City and Mount Wachusett Community College in Gardner. He was a member of Eugene M. Connor Post 193 American Legion, the National Rifle Association and the Wachusett Barnstormers Flying Club. He enjoyed building radio controlled planes, family genealogy and camping. He leaves his wife of 50 years, Priscilla J. (Adams) Draeger; three sons, Kenneth P. Draeger and his wife Jane of Wells, ME, Dean C. Draeger and his wife Denise of Westminster, MA and Eric J. Draeger and his wife Laura of Jaffrey, NH; five grandchildren, Dana C. Draeger, Jeremy R. Draeger and Jake A. Draeger of Westminster, Robert Lee Draeger of Michigan and Gretchen J. Draeger of Wells, ME; a great grandchild Jackson Lee Draeger of Westminster and two step granddaughters, Brandy Adams of Pelham, NH and Erica Royal of Rindge, NH. He will be remembered as a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great grandfather, who was deeply loved and will be sorely missed. Calling hours will be held Saturday, July 17th from 2 to 5 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. Members of Eugene M.
