TEMPLETON - Robert Lee Tibbits, 74, of 212 Freight Shed Road, Baldwinville, died unexpectedly Sunday, April 22nd in Heywood Hospital, Gardner. He was born in Worcester on November 13,1932, the son of Frank G. and Emma (Davies) Tibbits, and had been a resident of the Templeton Developmental Center since 1990. A resident of Beech Lodge, Robert Lee had worked at Templeton Campus Enterprises, where he performed assembly tasks. He was remembered to be a conscientious worker. He formerly attended the New Beginnings Art Class, where he enjoyed painting. He attended the Beech Club Day Program, Music Therapy and the Horticultural Program at the Greenhouse. Robert Lee enjoyed corresponding with his sister, Ethel Beaudoin, and his guardian, Constance Cummings. He leaves his sister, Ethel Beaudoin of St. Augustine, Florida and a brother, Francis Tibbits. A brother, Frank Tibbits, predeceased him. Funeral services will be held Monday, April 30th at 2 P.M. in the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Edward Neuhaus will officiate. Following cremation, burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Templeton.
