Roger Gauthier

Winchendon-Roger A. Gauthier, 78, died Sunday, February 19, 2023, at UMass Medical Center, in Worcester after an illness. 

He was the husband of the late Leana J. (Belanger) Gauthier, who died on March 19, 2022.

He leaves three children, Christopher Gauthier and his significant other, Kathy Roberts of Baldwinville, Kimberly Wood and her husband Lee of Fitchburg, and Jason Gauthier and his wife Bridgette of Phillipston; six grandchildren, Amanda Gauthier-Root, Samantha Wood, Jacob Sullivan, Joseph Gauthier, Lilyanna Gauthier, and Emily Gauthier; two great-grandchildren, Everest Rayne Gauthier-Root, and Canyon Wynter Gauthier-Root; four nieces, Joanne, Jane, Alice, and Nancy; two nephews, Peter and Ricky. 

Roger was born in Winchendon on November 15, 1944, a son of the late Peter F. and Alexina A. (Laforce) Gauthier. He was a graduate of Murdock High School. He was the owner and operator of Gauthier Drywall and then ASAP Drywall for over 54 years. 

He was a member of Club 25, enjoyed NASCAR, spending time at camp, playing cards, fishing and especially enjoyed cooking and eating breakfast. 

His funeral services and burial will be private.
