GARDNER – Roger A. LaChance Jr, 50, of 27 Allen Street, died Thursday, February 12th at his residence.
He was born in Peterborough, NH on February 18, 1964, son of Roger A. LaChance of Gardner and the late Alice M. (LaLiberte) LaChance and lived in Gardner for many years.
Roger had worked for 15 years as a woodworker at Eustis Enterprises in Ashburnham until a few years ago. He was a former member of Fraternal Order of Eagles. He enjoyed playing pool, darts and cards. A very caring person, he was loved by all and would help anyone in need.
In addition to his father, he leaves a daughter, Heather L. LaChance of Athol; a grandson Dylan Gordon; two stepsons, Shawn Barton and Robert Barton; his former wife Janice Barton, all of Gardner; two brothers, Ricky LaChance of Gardner and Jimmy LaChance of Winchendon; two sisters, Cherie Adams of Gardner and Loriann LaChance of Orange; a step grandson Brian Barton and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held Thursday, February19th at 11 AM in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Inanna Arthen will officiate.
