Roland J. St. Pierre

WINCHENDON – Roland J. St. Pierre, 73, of 99 Town Farm Road, Winchendon, died Saturday evening, April 30 th , at his home, surrounded by his loving family, after a long illness.
He was born in Winchendon on September 3, 1937, the son of the late Emile A. and Amanda (Pelletier) St. Pierre and was a resident of Winchendon for most of his life.
Roland worked for the Chevrolet Garage in Winchendon as the service manager for many years. In 2007, he retired from MART in Gardner. He proudly served his country as a Private in the United States Army from 1960 to 1961. Roland especially enjoyed spending time with his family and his animals.
He leaves his wife of 48 years, Elaine A. (Amann) St. Pierre; two sons, Brian T. St. Pierre and his wife Lisa, and Russell J. St. Pierre and his wife Sara and two grandchildren, Anthony J. St. Pierre and Sidney M. St. Pierre, and one brother, Emile St. Pierre, all of Winchendon.
Private funeral services were held in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. Burial was in the Masssachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
There were no calling hours.
