Roland J.M. "Buckets" Rocheleau Jr.

WINCHENDON - Roland J.M. "Buckets" Rocheleau Jr., 56, of 29 Hyde Park Street, Winchendon, died peacefully Monday evening, August 2nd, at his residence, surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Fitchburg on September 22, 1953, son of Roland J.M. Rocheleau of Winchendon and the late Barbara A. (Waltz) Rocheleau and lived in Winchendon for his entire life. Buckets graduated from Murdock High School with the Class of 1971. Buckets was a truck driver for New England Wooden Ware for 39 years. An avid motorcyclist, he was a member of the Harley Owners Group, known as HOG. Buckets was a drummer for "Southbound" and "High Lights". He enjoyed the outdoors and was an avid fan of the Boston Red Sox and New England Patriots. He was also a former Little League Coach. In addition to his father, he leaves his wife of 33 years, Cynthia A. (Regan) Rocheleau; two sons, Roland J.M. Rocheleau 3rd and his wife Karleen of Lake Tahoe, CA and Heath D. Rocheleau of Antioch, CA; two brothers, Leon W. "Butch" Rocheleau and his wife Linda of Gardner and Maurice L. "Shoes" Rocheleau of Winchendon; a half sister, Rolanda Price and her husband David of Templeton; a grand puppy Athena and several aunts, uncles, nephews, nieces and cousins. Buckets especially enjoyed spending time with his family. He was loved and will be missed by all, who knew him. Private graveside service will be held in Riverside Cemetery, Winchendon.
