Rollande B. (Bressette) Chalifoux

WINCHENDON – Rollande B. (Bressette) Chalifoux, 99, formerly of 110 Ipswich Drive, Winchendon, died peacefully Sunday morning, September 15th in Baldwinville Nursing Home.
She was born in Granby, Canada on July 4, 1914, daughter of the late John and Anna (Vermette) Bressette, and lived in Winchendon since 1947.
Rollande had worked as a waitress at Bruno’s Restaurant in Keene many years ago. Active in local civic affairs, she was a member of Lt. Frederick Wilder White Post 2158 VFW Auxiliary, Winchendon Grange, Winchendon Garden Club, Clark Memorial Golden Age Club and was a member and past president of Winchendon Council on Aging.
Her husband, George E. Chalifoux, died in 1983. She leaves two daughters, Anne R. Kahn of Hamburg, NH and Helen Mae Olson of Rindge, NH, six grandchildren, 17 great grandchildren and several great great grandchildren. A daughter, Lucille Mitchell and all of her siblings predeceased her.
Funeral services will be held Wednesday, September 18th at 11 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral home. The Rev. Francis A. Roberge will officiate. A calling hour will precede the funeral from 10 to 11 A.M. Wednesday.
Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery.
