Ronald A. Rouleau

CORRYTON, TN - Ronald A. Rouleau, age 67, of Corryton, Tennessee, passed away peacefully Sunday afternoon, September 6th in St. Mary's Hospital in Knoxville. He was born in Winchendon, MA. on July 12th,1942, the son of the late Achille J. and Marie Jeanne (LaPointe) Rouleau and graduated in 1960 from Murdock High School. Ron worked for Bituminous Insurance Company as a Manager and Senior Insurance Adjuster from 1969 to 2007 in Kansas, Michigan, Tennessee, Georgia, Arkansas, Louisiana and North Carolina. He retired to Corryton, TN in 2007. Ron served in the United States Air Force from 1960 to 1964, traveling to Germany and Greece. He was awarded the Air Force Good Conduct Medal and Air Force Longevity Service Award. Ron was an avid member of the Miata Club of America and the Mustang Club of America. He was also a proud member of the National Rifle Association. His hobbies included model airplanes, computer and electronics, target shooting and cars. He leaves his wife of 40 years, Sandra (Kowalski) Rouleau; a daughter, Sherri L. Sanderson and her husband Matt Sanderson of Corryton, TN; one brother, Thomas G. Rouleau of Ludlow, MA.; three sisters, Doris M. Doody of Worcester, Jeannine A. Sullivan of Stuart, FL and Dolores P. Boule of Marlboro, MA.; three grandchildren, Ronald Sanderson, Abigail Sanderson and Daniel Sanderson, as well as many nieces, nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 11th from the Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street. Burial will be in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Thursday, September 10th from 6 to 8 P.M.
