Ronald B. Progen

Ronald B. Progen, 70, of Conway, SC, passed away in his sleep Wednesday morning July 21, 2021.

Ron was born on August 10, 1950 in Gardner, MA to the late Ralph and Elvi (Santa) Progen.

Ron spent most of his life in Central Mass - with a notable exception for his service in Vietnam with the US Army's 101st Airborne Division and, later in life, retiring with his wife, Lois, to Conway, SC.  Ron enjoyed fishing, traveling, and trying new craft beers.

Ron will be sadly missed by his wife, Lois Progen of Conway, SC; and his three children, Matthew Progen and his wife Erin of Virginia Beach, VA, Adam Progen and his wife Lindsey, of Centerville, VA, and Karyn Progen of West Boylston, MA.  Ron's two granddaughters, Jacklyn and Natalie will miss their Papi.  Ron was preceded in death by his brother, Dick Progen of Doylestown, PA and two sisters, Alice (Progen) Brand and Blanche (Progen) Austin, of Winchendon, MA.

Military funeral services will be held on Friday July 30, 2021 at 11:00AM in the Massachusetts Veterans' Memorial Cemetery in Winchendon, MA.
