Ronald C. Oberg

GARDNER – Ronald C. Oberg, 74, of Gardner, died Monday, December 6, 2021 in Gardner.

He was born in Gardner on May 8, 1947, son of the late Elbridge and Sylvia (Haapaoja) Oberg and was a 1965 graduate of Gardner High School.  Ron moved to the Boston area following high school and worked at R.C. Reid Wholesaler Jewelers and Allston Piano Movers.  He returned to Gardner in the early 2000’s and worked as a machine operator at Harrington and Richardson until his retirement.

Ron enjoyed cooking and loved music and had a talent for drawing.

He leaves his brothers and sisters, Kenneth Oberg of Seabeck, WA, Sylvia Setevdemio and husband Ronald of Ashburnham, Christine Perla of Lunenburg, Donald Oberg and wife Janice of Gardner, Carolyn Fontaine and husband Tom of Phillipston and Deborah Guyer of Lunenburg, as well as several nephews and nieces.  In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Judith Couture a brother-in-law, Steve Guyer and special friend, Donna Simpson.
