Rosalinde L. Sanborn

HUBBARDSTON – Rosalinde L. (Francis) Sanborn, 74, of 58 Hale Road, died peacefully Thursday morning, May 6, 2021 in her residence, with her family at her side.

She was born in Worcester on June 18, 1946, daughter of the late Robert and Virginia (King) Francis and grew up in Boylston.  Rosalinde was a graduate of Tahanto Regional High School.  She had lived in Worcester for 20 years and had lived for the last 33 years in Hubbardston.

Roslinde had worked as an administrative secretary at UMASS Memorial Medical Center, Worcester until her retirement.  She was the first female police officer for the Town of Hubbardston.  Her greatest enjoyment was spending time with her family.

She leaves her husband of 55 years, Bradley A. Sanborn; 14 children, Kimberly Pirner and her husband Kevin of Hubbardston, Kerri Flaherty and her husband Stephen of Mascotte, FL, Keith Sanborn and his fiancé Jamie of Auburn, Kris Sanborn and his wife Bobbie Joe of Hubbardston, Shawn Sanborn of Templeton, Joseph Sanborn and his fiancé Gina Sheeran of Worcester, Kate-Lynn Cote and her husband Bryan of Templeton, Rebecca Grover of Gardner, Ginger Sanborn of N.C., Matthew Sanborn of Hubbardston, Mark Sanborn of Hubbardston, Stephen Sanborn of Hubbardston, Thomas Sanborn of Fitchburg and Nicholas Becker of Hubbardston; two sisters, Dorothy Page of Sutton and Debra Flanagan of Rutland; one brother, Kenneth Francis of Boylston; many grandchildren; several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Private funeral services will be held in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.

Burial will be in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
