WINCHENDON - Rose A. (Duplease) Lema, 81, of 88 Mill Street, Winchendon died Friday morning, June 12th in University of Massachusetts Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester. She was born in Winchendon on November 20,1927, the daughter of the late Charles E. and Rose A. (Gamelin) Duplease and was a lifelong resident of Winchendon. Rose worked at New Hampshire Ball Bearings in Peterborough, NH, where she tested ball bearings for many years, until her retirement. She was a member of Immaculate Heart of Mary Church. Rose was a very loving wife, a caring mother and grandmother. She enjoyed crocheting. She leaves her husband of 55 years, Frank M. Lema; six children, Nancy M. Guzman and her husband Ariosto of Winchendon, Frank M. Lema Jr. and his wife Barbara of Gardner, Diane M. Shirley of Winchendon, Jennifer A. Lema of Warwick, RI, Jonathan E. Lema of Gardner and Charles Lema of Worcester; two brothers, Donald E. Duplease of Winchendon and Charles E. Duplease Jr. of Gardner, nine grandchildren, one great granddaughter and many nephews and nieces. Rose was predeceased by her brothers and sisters, Robert Duplease, Marilyn Dillon, Eleanor Beaumont, Olive Webster, Julian Duplease and Gordon Duplease. Funeral services will be held Tuesday, June 16th from the Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street with a Mass of Christian Burial at 11 A.M. in Immaculate Heart of Mary Church, 52 Spruce Street. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery. Calling hours in the funeral home will be Monday, June 15th from 6 to 8 P.M.
