Rosealma M. (Duval) Davis

RINDGE, N.H. - Rosealma M. (Duval) Davis, 90, of 169 Woodbound Road, Rindge, N.H., died peacefully at the home of her daughter in Florence, MA. on Thursday evening, December 4th. She was born in Jaffrey, N.H. on July 3,1918, the daughter of the late Silas and Marie Antoinette (Bernier) Duval and lived most of her life in Rindge. Rose worked for many years at New Hampshire Ball Bearing Co. in Peterborough, NH until her retirement. She loved animals and was a care giver to many stray dogs and cats. She enjoyed crocheting, gardening, baking, cooking and working in her yard. Her greatest enjoyment came from spending time with her family. Her husband, Richard D. Davis, Sr., died in 1984. She leaves four sons, Richard D. Davis, Jr. and his wife Marlene of Jaffrey, N.H., Roger P. Davis and his partner Colleen of Fitzwilliam, N.H., Terry A. Davis and his wife Carole of Frankfurt, N.Y. and Glenn R. Davis and his wife Ingrid of Surprise, AZ., a daughter, Sandra D. Stowell and her husband Jett of Florence, MA.; a sister, Bernadette Knight of Dublin, N.H.; 21 grandchildren, 48 great grandchildren, 8 great great grandchildren and many nephews and nieces. Four brothers, Henry Duval, Thomas Duval, Roderick Duval and Joseph Duval and four sisters, Alice Miller, Antoinette Bourden, RoseannaNaylor, and Mary Louise Davis, predeceased her. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 10th at 2 P.M. in the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon, MA. A calling hour will be held Wednesday, December 10th from 1 to 2 P.M. in the funeral home, preceding the funeral. Burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Rindge, N.H. in the spring.
