WINCHENDON - Ruth E. (Wilson) Patch, 90, formerly of 41 Beech Street, died Sunday, December 11th in the Leo P. LaChance Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, Gardner, following an illness. She was born in Richmond, New Hampshire on September 11,1915, the daughter of Lewis E. and Nellie M. (Brown) Wilson and had resided in Winchendon for 80 years, before moving to the nursing home five years ago. Her husband of 34 years, Charles H. Patch, died in 1977. Ruth was a graduate of Murdock High School with the Class of 1934. She was a woodworker at the former Dionne Manufacturing before her retirement in 1972. Ruth was a member of the former First Baptist Church, where she taught Sunday School for many years. She leaves no known survivors. Ruth was predeceased by a brother, James T. Wilson, in 1943, and a sister, Margaret I. Wilson, in 2000. Private funeral services will be held. Burial will take place in Riverside Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
