Sally E. (Saari) Maillet

GARDNER – Sally E. (Saari) Maillet, 72, of 125 Connors Street, Gardner, died Friday, January 25th in Legend Center for Rehabilitation and Nursing, Gardner.
She was born in Gardner on November 18, 1940, daughter of the late Sulo and Alice (Archambeault) Saari and lived in Templeton in her early years. For the last thirteen years, she lived at the Binnall House. Sally loved cats and playing bingo.
She was wife of the late Able “Pete” Maillet. Her companion of many years, Homer “Chink” Lucier, died in 2005. She leaves a son, Larry P. Maillet of Gardner; a brother, Paul A. Saari of Templeton; two sisters, Theresa Brooks of Templeton and Shirley Parks and her husband Martin of Winchendon and many nephews and nieces.
Calling hours will be held Friday, February 1st from 6 to 7 P.M. with a service at 7 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.
Burial will be in St. John’s Cemetery in the spring.
