Samuel Stoller

January 23, 1935 — June 6, 2006

TEMPLETON - Samuel Stoller, 71, of 212 Freight Shed Road, Baldwinville, died Tuesday, June 6th in UMass Memorial Medical Center, University Campus, Worcester. He was born in Boston on January 23,1935, the son of Philip and Ruth (Model) Stoller and had lived at the Templeton Developmental Center since 1942. Sam was a member of the Center's Therapeutic Leisure Center and assisted with the New Employee Orientation, where he would explain the history of the Templeton Developmental Center.. An avid Red Sox and Patriots fan, Sam helped out with monthly dinners. He was a member of the Human Rights Committee and the Regional Advisory Board. Among his activities were woodworking projects, arts and crafts projects and playing cards. He was a member of the Bell Choir and Sign Choir. He also enjoyed occasional lunch and movie trips. In particular, he enjoyed annual visits out of state to be with his family. He leaves a sister, Sydney Gura of Chapel Hill, North Carolina. Funeral services will be held at 3 P.M. Friday, June 9th in the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery, Templeton. There are no calling hours. www.snow-ladeau.com
