Sandra A. (Newell) Dufour

ASHBURNHAM – Sandra A. (Newell) Dufour, 62, of 18 Proctor Street, Ashburnham, died peacefully at her residence, Monday evening, September 3rd, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Groton on March 5, 1950, daughter of the late Albert “Ben” and Margaret (Lee) Newell and lived in Ashburnham all of her life. She graduated from Oakmont High School with the class of 1968.
Sandy worked as travel agent for many years at Gardner Travel. She enjoyed taking many cruises with her husband and especially enjoyed time with her family. Sandy was very involved in the lives of her grandchildren.
She leaves her husband, Robert N. Dufour; two children, Jennie M. Dufour of Ashburnham and Robert M. Dufour and his wife Nicole of Ashburnham and two grandchildren, Symantha Dufour and Ryleigh Dufour.
Graveside services will be held Saturday, September 8th at 1 P.M. in New Cemetery, Ashburnham. The Rev. John Horgan will officiate. There are no calling hours.
