Shirley E. Sawyer

WINCHENDON - Shirley E. (White) Sawyer, 91, of 131 Ipswich Drive, died peacefully Saturday morning, April 28, 2018  in Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville.

She was born in Winchendon on June 22, 1926, daughter of the late Hollis and Edna (Cook) White and was a graduate of Murdock High School.

Shirley had worked as a clerk in the former family business, Sawyer Pharmacy in Jaffrey.  Her hobbies were knitting, crafts and spending time with her family.

Her husband of 38 years, Gerald David Sawyer, died in 1985.  She leaves four children, Kevin W. Sawyer and his wife Deborah of Rindge, NH, Suzanne Lemieux and her husband Howard of South Carolina, Brenda Caron and her husband Michael of Dublin, NH and Jill Wood of Jaffrey, NH; nine grandchildren and forteen great grandchildren.  In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, Gerald D. Sawyer Jr; two brothers, Emerson White and Floyd White and two sisters, Lois Gleason and Leta White.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 3 P.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon.

Calling hours will be held Saturday from 1 to 3 P.M.
