Stephen Sellman

TEMPLETON - Stephen Sellman, 61, of 212 Freight Shed Road, Baldwinville, died peacefully Sunday morning, March 14th, at his residence. Steve was born in Long Island, New York on October 4,1948, the son of the late Billie Jenkins and John E. Sellman, and had been a resident of the Templeton Developmental Center in Baldwinville for many years. During his many years living in Templeton, Steve was befriended by the late Grace Eaton who embraced Steve as a family member providing him with love and support during the years his mother lived in Florida. For several years Steve attended the Life Skills Day Program and the Drop-In Center where he enjoyed a variety of activities including woodworking, cooking, and latch hooking. He will be remembered for his genuine love and respect for those close to him and for the joy he experienced from fine dining, attending the theatre, and from his numerous vacations in Florida. He leaves his close friend and guardian, Mary Ellen Tolo of Winchendon, as well as his extended family of residents, social workers and staff members at the Templeton Devlopmental Center. A memorial service will be held Friday, June 11th at 10:30 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Brenda Casavoy will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Hill Cemetery, Sherborn, MA. www.stone-ladeau.com
