Steven Grenier

Steven W. Grenier, of Winchendon MA, formerly of Orange, MA died December 29, 2024, in his home surrounded by his loved ones.

Steve was born in Fitchburg, MA at Burbank Hospital, August 14, 1958. A son of William and Lorraine Grenier. Steven grew up in Fitchburg, MA, as well as having lived in Gardner and Ashburnham before moving to Orange, MA where he spent most of his life with his family.

He enjoyed spending time with his family. Steve enjoyed watching his children play sports growing up, sitting around the table playing games, camping trips, and vacations. 

Steve had always been an avid hunter and fisherman. In fact, after recent medical treatments some of his only requests were for his children to take him fishing out on the ocean. He loved nature and spending time outside.

In recent years Steve believed he met his soulmate. Malaythip Ngonvorarah (Ari) and Steve had an instant connection. They were happily married September 12, 2020, at their home. Leading up until recent illness Steve and his wife Ari spent much time outside their beloved home building gardens and enjoying nature. 

He leaves two sons, Ryan J. Grenier of Orange, MA; Robert W. Grenier with wife Gabielle of New Salem, MA; one daughter, Joanne Grenier with fiance Tara of Winchester, NH.

He is predeceased by his mother and father; Lorraine (2000) and William (2019), as well as his sister Joanne E. Grenier of Fitchburg who died in 1983.

 Calling hours will be held on Saturday, January 4, 2024, from 10-11:30 a.m. at Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home. 343 Central Street Winchendon, MA 03470. In keeping Steven's wishes, he has chosen not to partake in a burial service but in a cremation ceremony with his loved ones. A celebration of life will be planned at a future date.
