TEMPLETON - Susan Ethel (King) Goguen, 70, of 196 Brooks Road, Templeton, passed away peacefully at Gardner Rehabilitation and Nursing Center on Friday, November 28, 2014, following a short illness. Susan was born in Braintree, MA on September 11, 1944. She was the daughter of Catherine and Davis King. Susan was a graduate of Narragansett Regional High School, Class of 1962. She worked for the former Templeton Welfare Department for a number of years.
For the last forty-four years, she and her husband, Jerry, owned and operated Gardner Office Supply. Susan enjoyed watching the Boston Red Sox with her family and RVing. Susan leaves her beloved husband of forty-two years, J. Gerard “Jerry” Goguen, her three daughters Lisa Hamel, Sandra (Goguen) Brackett and her husband, Andy of Moultonborough, New Hampshire, and Gail (Goguen) Bulman and her husband Peter of Syracuse, New York. She also leaves three grandchildren, Jerry, Michael, and Laura Bulman, her sister, Doris Taft of Baldwinville, MA, her nephew, Steven and his wife Kelly Taft of Winchendon and their three children.
Funeral services will be held Monday, December 1st at 1 PM in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Joseph Jurgelonis will officiate. Burial will be in Pine Grove Cemetery.
Calling hours will be Monday, December 1st from 12 to 1 P.M. preceding the funeral.
