Sylvia A. (Best) Anderson

GARDNER - Sylvia A. (Best) Anderson, 95, of 47 Lake Street, Gardner, died peacefully Friday evening, October 23rd in Quabbin Valley Healthcare, Athol. She was born in Gardner on August 2,1914, the daughter of the late John H. and Hilda Best and was a lifelong resident of Gardner. Sylvia worked for many years as the Head Cook at the Templeton Developmental Center until her retirement. She was educated in Gardner and went to work at an early age. Her husband, Ernest Anderson, died in 1993. In addition to her husband, Sylvia was predeceased by all of her brothers and sisters, David, John, Helge, Jennie, Hildur, Ruth, Esther and Tilly. Funeral services will be held Wednesday, October 28th at 11 A.M. in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. David R. Cote will officiate.
