FITCHBURG - Taimi M. (Pasanen) McIntyre, 95, formerly of 75 Kinsman Road, Fitchburg, died early Tuesday, December 12th in the Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville following an illness. She was born in Fitchburg on January 21,1911, the daughter of Otto and Matilda (Kunelius) Pasanen, and had resided there until moving to the nursing home a year and a half ago. Her husband of 30 years, William V. McIntyre, Sr., died in 1970. Taimi was employed at Central Surgical Supply Services at Burbank Hospital in Fitchburg before her retirement. She enjoyed reading, knitting, babysitting, yard work and bird watching. She was a very caring person and got the most satisfaction by helping others. Taimi leaves two sons, William V. McIntyre, Jr. and his wife, Simonne, of Ashburnham and John D. McIntyre, Sr. and his wife, Carol of Fitchburg; five grandchildren, Paul McIntyre, Dr. Suzanne McIntyre, Karen (McIntyre) Aristegui, John McIntyre, Jr. and Brian McIntyre; four great grandchildren, Lydia McIntyre, Ellen McIntyre, Sean Aristegui and Elli Aristegui, and several nephews and nieces. She was predeceased by two brothers, Otto Pasanen and Weikko Pasanen, and a sister, Tynne (Pasanen) Aura. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday, December 15th in the Snow-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon. The Rev. Dr. R. Gary Heikkila will officiate. Burial will be in Forest Hills Cemetery, Fitchburg. Calling hours in the funeral home will be held on Thursday, December 14th from 6 P.M. to 8 P.M. and Friday, December 15th from 10 A.M. to 11 A.M., prior to the service.
