Terry A. Turner

WINCHENDON - Terry A. Turner, 65, of 417 Maple Street, Winchendon entered heaven on Friday, January 2nd. He was born in Augusta, Maine on July 19,1943 and had lived in Winchendon for many years. He was an avid sportsman and an accomplished auto body repairman before becoming ill. Terry loved to play Checkers and taught his kids and grandkids to play. He leaves eight children, Terry A. Turner Jr. and Sherry Turner of Lewiston, Maine, Terry Turner and his wife Grace of Greenfield, Theresa Thompson and her husband Larry of Gardner, Ronda Turner of Greenfield, Tammy Barrows and her husband Brian of Fitchburg, Laurie Clark and her husband Mark of Winchendon and Ronnie Turner of Winchendon, 17 grandchildren and his ex-wife and care giver Theresa Turner of Winchendon. He was predeceased by a brother and a grandchild, Ashlen Grace Turner. A celebration of his life on earth and his passage into heaven will be held on Saturday, January 10th at 1 P.M. in the The Church of God, 30 Beech Street, Winchendon, with a reception to follow. The Rev. Howard E. Underwood Jr. will officiate. Memorial donations may be made to the Gardner Visiting Nursing Association, 34 Pearly Lane, Gardner, MA. 01440.
