GARDNER - Terry Wayne Campbell, 70, of 268 Central Street, died peacefully Friday, May 15, 2020 in Baystate Medical Center in Springfield, Mass after a brief illness.
He is survived by his daughter Nicole L (Campbell) Burchard, her husband Jeffrey K Burchard, and two grandchildren, Madden O. Burchard and Emelia E. Burchard of Scarborough, ME. He also leaves one sister, Gail Pominville of Holden, MA and many nieces and nephews. Terry was pre-deceased by his brothers Kenneth, David, Paul, and Donald.
Terry was born in Roxbury, MA. on December 30, 1949, son of the late Donald and Dorothy (Smith) Campbell and later moved to Northborough. He then proudly served in the U.S. Army as a sergeant with the fire department in Vietnam and eventually settled in Gardner.
Terry was a loyal Patriots and Bruins fan and enjoyed playing and watching sports throughout his life. He was very passionate about music and movies had an extensive collection of both. One of his favorite things to do was to spoil his beloved grandchildren and spend time with them. He was loved dearly and will be greatly missed.
Military funeral services will be held at a later date in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.
