WINCHENDON – Thomas J. Veilleux, 64, formerly of 436 Maple Street, Winchendon, died peacefully Sunday morning, July 3rd, in Baldwinville Nursing Home, Baldwinville, with his family at his side.
He was born in Winchendon on March 4, 1947, the son of Doris A. (Baker) Veilleux of Winchendon and the late Leon H. Veilleux and grew up in Winchendon. He later lived in Bradenton, FL for 16 years until returning here in 2003.
Tom was a Certified Nurse’s Aide in Bradenton. He was a member of Palmetto Lodge of Masons and enjoyed painting and spending time with his family.
In addition to his mother, he leaves two daughters, Christine Gill of Rindge, NH and Dawn Mitchell and her three children Anthony, Timothy and Emma of Boca Raton, FL; a son Sean Veilleux of Boca Raton, FL; a stepdaughter Andrea Basto of Bradenton, FL; five brothers, Leo Veilleux of Fitchburg, Bill Veilleux of Athol, Pierre Veilleux of Winchendon, Michael Veilleux of Royalston and Noel Veilleux of Winchendon, as well as many nephews and nieces.
A Memorial Mass will be held Saturday, July 16 th at 11 A.M. in St. Vincent De Paul Church, 1 Forest Street, Baldwinville.
There are no calling hours.
