Wayne M. Tocci

WINCHENDON – Wayne M. Tocci, 62, of 44 Cross Street, died peacefully at home Wednesday, March 17, 2021 with his family at his side.

He was born in Newton, MA on December 1, 1958, son of the late Leonard and Glenda (Reid) Tocci and was a graduate of Watertown High School.  Wayne had lived in Winchendon for 30 years.

Wayne was employed as a groundskeeper from 2004 until present at the Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.  He was respected by his fellow workers and funeral directors for his hard work ethic and honesty.  His hobbies included coin collecting, metal detecting, dancing, woodworking and fishing.

He leaves his wife of 41 years, Denise (Carpenter) Tocci; two children, Michael Tocci and his wife Amanda of Rindge, NH and Michelle Tocci of Newton; a granddaughter, Lilly Ann Tocci and his brothers and sisters, Rick, Ernest, Stephen, Deborah, Alan and Monica and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be private and at the convenience of the family.
