TEMPLETON – William G. “Bill” Lamore, 63, of 60 Forest Street, Baldwinville, died peacefully Tuesday evening, July 31st at his residence, with his family at his side.

He was born in Fitchburg on March 18, 1949, the son of Irene (Deschenes) Lamore Rodier of Baldwinville and the late George Lamore and had lived in Baldwinville for most of his life.

Bill was an oil burner technician for many years and once owned and operated the former Lamore Heating Company.  After leaving his business, Bill worked for Local #4 Pipefitters Union in Worcester until a couple of years ago.

Bill proudly served in the Army during the Vietnam War.  He was a member of St. Vincent de Paul Church, Baldwinville, Lt. Roger P. Warfield Post 373 American Legion in Baldwinville and Ovila Case Post 129 VFW in Gardner.  A simple, hardworking man, Bill enjoyed having coffee with his close friends each morning and especially treasured time with his family.

In addition to his mother, Bill leaves his wife of 40 years, Gail L. (Parviainen) Lamore; two daughters, Jennifer L. Paul of Templeton and Nicole M. Lamore of Baldwinville; a godchild, Michael Rogers of Everett; four grandchildren, Jacob Paul, Joseph Paul, Joshua Paul and Abygail Lamore; three brothers, George Lamore Jr of Baldwinville, Joseph Lamore of KY and Vaughn Lamore of OH; five sisters, Linda Lamore of Winchendon, Denise Gary of Winchendon, Cindy Maillett of Winchendon, Lisa Oullette of Haverhill and Gina Spivey of Germany; his stepfather, Conrad Rodier of Baldwinville, as well as many nephews, nieces and friends.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held Friday, August 3rd at 12 Noon in St. Vincent de Paul Church, 1 Forest Street, Baldvinville.  Burial, with military honors, will follow in Massachusetts Veterans’ Memorial Cemetery, Winchendon.

Calling hours in Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central Street, Winchendon are Thursday, August 2nd from 6 to 8 P.M.
