Wilma A. Eddy

Gardner, MA

Wilma Kusch Eddy passed away peacefully on March 28, 2025. Wilma entered this world in Nasonworth, New Brunswick, Canada, on February 15, 1931. She grew up in Gardner , Massachusetts under the loving care of her parents, Earle Howlett Corey and Lois Mae Morgan Corey.

Wilma lived and worked briefly in Boston, Massachusetts, before moving to Saugus, Massachusetts, after marrying the love of her life, Charlie Kusch. Wilma resided for thirty years in Saugus, where she worked as a secretarial accountant.

Later in life Wilma returned to live in Gardner. Wilma's strong faith was fundamental to her spirit. She was a devoted member of the First Baptist Church of Gardner, where she loved singing in the church choir; and she was an active member in the Protestant Guild of Gardner.

Wilma had a robust sense of humor. She loved people, enjoyed conversation and had a talent for the quick repartee.

Wilma was predeceased by her parents, husband Charles Kusch, husband Rob Eddy, brother A. Eugene Corey and sister-in-law Marilyn Corey, and nephew Steven Corey.

Wilma leaves behind her niece Arlene Corey and her husband William Mannetti, both of Seymour, CT; cousin Elaine Billiard and her partner Russ Harris, both of Easton, Pennsylvania; cousin Ruth Henderson and her husband Rev. Willis Henderson, both of Nova Scotia, Canada. She also leaves behind devoted friend Fatima Allan of Saugus, MA, and Fatima's children, Anthony and Samantha (to whom Wilma was "Nana"), and devoted friend Ann Hines and her husband Rev. James Hines., both of Keene, New Hampshire.

Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, 343 Central St., Winchendon will be overseeing the arrangements. We invite you to share your memories of Wilma, upload photos, and offer condolences on her memorial page. Calling hours will be held Monday, April 7, 2025 from 11:00 AM - 12:00 PM at Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home, Winchendon.

Funeral to follow at 12:00 PM at Stone-Ladeau Funeral Home. Burial will be private.
